Your privacy matters

Nekoin stores your expense data only on your device or in your personal iCloud account. We do not collect or store your personal financial information on our servers. When using the shared ledger feature, relevant data is synced between invited members via Apple's encrypted CloudKit infrastructure.

Your expense records are encrypted and synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. We have no access to your iCloud data. Apple's privacy policy applies to all data stored through CloudKit.

When using cloud AI models (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, GitHub Copilot), receipt images are sent to their respective APIs for processing. When using on-device AI (Ollama), all processing happens locally on your device and nothing is sent to any external server.

We may use Apple's anonymous crash reporting to improve app stability. This data contains no personally identifiable information or financial data.

Nekoin integrates Apple CloudKit (data sync) and Apple TestFlight (beta distribution). Their respective privacy policies apply when these services are used.
